Patrick Willis 49ers jerseyThe NFL's ongoing auction platform rolls on with some AFL Legacy jerseys and an important game-used football among the items sold this week.

Would you spend $910 on an autographed towel?

Someone did.

Results on the official NFL Auction platform continue to show a mix of bargains and head scratchers. Game-worn jersey prices have been fairly reasonable considering the market, but a few stood out with bids topping $2000 for signed shirts worn in games played during October.

Topping the list was a Patrick Willis 49ers jersey with the pink captain's patch. It sold for $2755.

Shawn Merriman Chargers Legacy Jersey AFL Legacy jerseys have proven to be popular among collectors in love with the old school style. Shawn Merriman's jersey from the Legacy game on October 19 sold for $2415 this week while Vince Young's Houston Oilers model from the Tennessee Titans' October 18th contest brought $2018 after 38 bids were entered online. An old school jersey worn by Broncos' quarterback Kyle Orton brought $1478.

2008 AFC Championship game ballRelative bargains sometimes pop through the cracks. You could easily classify the 2008 AFC Championship game kickoff football in that group. The one-of-a-kind ball from the Steelers vs Ravens encounter sold for just $610. If the winning bidder adds some signatures from the team that became Super Bowl champs, the ball would turn into almost a museum-quality type piece.

Reggie Bush game worn shoesItems from the breast cancer awareness event games continue to filter through. A pair of Reggie Bush pink game-worn shoes, signed by the Saints' running back, drew 32 bids and sold for $1675. A sideline towel signed by members of the Indianapolis Colts was hot, closing at $910.
