One of the key players in the 1968 Detroit Tigers' World Series championship, was signing autographs over the weekend.

It's been 40 years since Mickey Stanley and his teammates on the Detroit Tigers were about to begin the playoff trek that would lead them to the World Series title.

Stanley was 26 years old then and not a superstar by any means. In fact, after his baseball career ended, he had to put even more effort into his working life. But he has no complaints.

Appearing at an autograph signing in Michigan over the weekend, Stanley talked about some sweet memories from that historic 1968 baseball season and what he's up to these days.
