Mark Texeira autographed baseballYankees' first baseman Mark Teixeira has signed an autograph and memorabilia agreement with Steiner Sports.

Mark TexeiraMark Teixeira, the New York Yankees first baseman and AL MVP candidate, has agreed to an exclusive collectibles and autograph deal with Steiner Sports Memorabilia.

In what will be the first-ever Teixeira memorabilia line, Steiner will offer signed baseballs, photos, jerseys, bats, hats, and batting helmets, among other items. In addition, Steiner says it "will leverage their Yankees-Steiner Collectibles partnership to offer Teixeira's game-used jerseys, bats, batting gloves and several other unique collectibles".

Teixeira signed with the Yankees this past off-season after a trade sent him from Atlanta to Anaheim during the 2008 season. He homered in Thursday night's 3-1 win over the Phillies in game two of the World Series.

"I'm excited to join many of my teammates who have had great success and a long lasting relationship with this first-class organization," Teixeira said of his arrangement with Steiner.

Plans are also underway for Steiner to partner with Teixeira on his charitable endeavors, which will be announced toward the start of next season.

"Steiner Sports is extremely excited to add New York's All-Star first baseman as part of our exclusive roster," said Brandon Steiner, founder and CEO. "We look forward to working with Mark, an all-star both on and off the field, on many of our upcoming projects."
