Coach football. Fly to New York from Wyoming. Catch a home run ball through a net at Yankee Stadium. Sell it for big bucks.
America...what a country!
Steve Harshman has been busy this fall.
Coaching Natrona County High School's football team (they're 3-3).
Representing the good people of the Casper area in the Wyoming legislature.
He also found time to catch the last game ever at Yankee Stadium. His seats weren't the greatest--or so he may have thought. But when Harshman snared the ball that wound up being the last home run ball ever hit at the ballpark, he found he had a golden ticket.
After bringing the ball back home and pondering his options for a few days, Harshman decided to sell. Word from New York is that he's consigned it to Guernsey's, which will offer it with other Yankee Stadium artifacts--and a 1912 World Series trophy--next month.
