Glove Collector Catches History

For Mike Ellis, owning a glove that was used in a big league baseball game from years gone by is great. But it's only part of the fun.

Ellis, the president of the minor league Montana Osprey, is a collector of all things baseball and what he likes best is unravelling some of the mysteries that surround the items he collects.

Gloves are a special favorite. He says he's no expert, but he does like the challenge of discovering who may have worn a particular piece. He even believes he has the glove worn by the pitcher who surrendered one of Babe Ruth's most famous home runs.

The Montana Standard checked out Ellis' collection and gets the scoop on why he feels a special connection to the glove.
