Someone at Fox News apparently just discovered his collection of Bonds, McGwire and Canseco rookie cards aren't worth squat.

The internet was a baby during the modern era baseball card boom of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Kids still spent their allowance on packs, most of which were purchased at the local card store.

Now, many of those stores are gone. Web surfing is eating into the time kids used to spend with their Beckett magazines. So have video games. The best packs are pricey.

It's all contributing to the imminent death of the industry.

At least that's the dour picture painted in a story that's airing on Fox News Channel.

Take your medication and have a look.
