Brett Favre hasn't latched on to a ton of new marketing opportunities since moving to New York, but he does have a new autograph deal in the works--with an outdoors company.
Brett Favre has had his share of contracts to sign autographs during his lengthy career, and he's apparently about to sign a new one.
Favre's agent, Bus Cook, told Sports Business Daily this week that while Favre hasn't added any major endorsements to his off-the-field portfolio, he's about to close a deal with Mississippi-based Big Buck Sports for autographs and memorabilia.
In fact, the Hattiesburg-based outdoors company already has a few Favre-signed Jets pieces on its website. Favre, a native of nearby Kiln, appears to be the company's only sports-related client.
Favre game-worn jerseys have come into question recently when an investigation turned up jerseys touted by Favre in advertising materials as being game-worn that actually weren't. |
