Hard work in and out of the store, combined with some loyal customers has kept one sports memorabilia shop going strong.

For 14 years, Dugout Dreams in Danbury, Connecticut has been selling baseball and other sports cards to collectors in the shadows of New York City.

The shop carries cards but also a lot of signed sports memorabilia and even vintage comic books.

Owner Sean O'Rourke has kept his eyes and ears open to what his diverse clientele is looking for and tries to stock plenty of it. He's also made a habit of recruiting sales at shows--and online where he can sell 24/7 without having to worry about a physical presence.

He told the local newspaper it's a nice way to earn a living.
