Chris Mizzoni grew up in the eastern half of Canada, idolizing the NHL and especially the Maple Leafs. Since then, he's moved west and carved out a nice career but he's always thinking hockey memorabilia.
American kids grew up with 'Casey at the Bat'.
Chris Mizzoni is hoping hockey kids across North America feel the same about Clancy with the Puck. It's a book that combines two of the North Vancouver native's loves--writing and hockey. His other love takes up half his house.
Mizzoni is a big-time baseball and hockey card and memorabilia collector. After growing up at Maple Leaf Gardens watching his heroes, Mizzoni started accumulating stuff. He hasn't stopped some thousands of items later.
He's all about vintage hockey memorabilia as the BC Local News found out.
