This season isn't over yet, but we've got a sneak peek at next year's Topps card design.
The company sent out a photo of its 2010 Topps Series One card design, using the Albert Pujols card as its model.
The cards will feature a large team logo in the lower left and carry a fairly simple design. Topps will be the only company licensed to use team and league logos and images on baseball cards after signing a deal with Major League Baseball this summer.
A few hours later, Upper Deck's Chris Carlin revealed the company will be bringing Exquisite as an insert to every 2010 Upper Deck Baseball release.
"To be able to add this additional value and chase will be a huge driver to 2010 Upper Deck Baseball products. The content will feature everything you’ve come to expect from the Exquisite brand and more," he wrote.
The super premium Exquisite line has been popular as a stand-alone product in Upper Deck's NBA line. It makes its final appearance this month as Upper Deck exits the licensed basketball card arena.
