Bidders weren't shy about chasing the Lakers' Game One jerseys from the 2009 NBA Finals.
Kobe Bryant's game one jersey from the 2009 NBA Finals sold for $35,270 and change Thursday night.
The jersey headlined a collection of Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic jerseys sold by NBA Auctions. It was the second year the league conducted a public sale of shirts worn in its championship series.
The Lakers home gold jerseys dominated the auction. While the Bryant jersey garnered 32 bids, Derek Fisher's #2 jersey actually attracted more. It sold for $10,019 and generated 39 bids in the two-week online event.
Lamar Odom's #7 Lakers jersey brought $8019 and Pau Gasol's #16 sold for $6760.
The top-selling Orlando jersey belonged to Dwight Howard. The young star has plenty of fans, but couldn't come close to Bryant territory in terms of interest. Howard's blue #12 was won for $7520.
Other Game One jersey sales included: Trevor Ariza ($4400); Andrew Bynum ($4220) and Hedo Turkoglu ($1770). Turkoglu's jersey was worn only in the first half, after which the Magic star apparently changed into a new shirt.
Jerseys from Game Three are now online, with the auction closing June 25. Bryant's purple road jersey currently stands at over $4500.
