Kentucky Man Loses Collection to Thief

Who has access to your house? A Kentucky man’s loss might provide a valuable lesson to anyone with a collection stored at home.

Troy Peterson lives in Cardinal country but he’s a big-time Yankee fan who owned a 1952 World Series program as part of a nice collection of sports cards and other momentos he stored in his Henderson, Kentucky home.

He believes someone known to the family slipped in and stole the mint condition program and boxes of cards. Now, he tells a local newspaper he’s going to keep collecting, but won’t be storing his good stuff at home.
