A baseball card show Tuesday afternoon? It seems to work in one city.

There aren't as many as there used to be, but if you can get the customers in the door, holding a baseball card show can still work for dealers needing to move some product...even with a weekday afternoon starting time.

A Parsippany, New Jersey show is still going on a weekly basis, 15 years after the first one. Diversification into other types of collectibles helps it survive, but the focus is still on buying, selling and trading sports cards.

Among the regular patrons according to the local paper? The father of a current NFL player.
