The home run chase has shifted down the coast and while there may be some Giants fans in LA, even the hype over homers hasn't fired up collectors who frequent area shops.

Vintage items of the people's home run king are suddenly hot while southern California sports card shop owners get a front row seat for the Bonds-a-thon. They're not impressed...and neither are their customers.

One owner says his opinion of Bonds was sealed during a particularly maddening act perpetrated by the surly one during a 1992 Bay Area card show.
