A Delaware man will spend 20 years in the pen for supplying the tainted heroin that killed popular autograph dealer Seth Boyd.

Joseph Bentley pleads guilty in the tainted heroin death of Seth Boyd
Joseph Bentley
Joseph Bentley was suspected of distributing fentanyl-laced heroin that killed Boyd. He will spend at least 20 years in prison after agreeing to plead guilty to a federal drug charge. Five other counts of the indictment were dropped in exchange for the guilty plea.

Boyd, a regular on the show circuit and well known to other autograph and historical document specialists, was found dead at his home in late April of this year. An autopsy concluded that he died from respiratory failure due to inhalation of fentanyl.

When Bentley was arrested a week after Boyd's death, he was found with a copy of Boyd's obituary in his pocket.
