He once appeared on the cover of football card publications, but O.J.'s visits to the hobby lately have been like the dinner guests you wish would leave but never do.

Sellers have scrambled to eBay believing now is the time to unload a piece of O.J. Simpson memorabilia. There isn't exactly a rush out there in buyer-land, though.

Simpson's latest experience with sports memorabilia has put the focus back on the hobby in general, which tries to distance itself from a once-popular NFL Hall of Famer.

One sports memorabilia auction house was apparently offered some of the same memorabilia confiscated by the cops.
