ImageSpeculation is that eBay may decrease listing fees next year, but that doesn't mean every fee is headed downward.

eBay did some experimenting with its fee structure lately as the company works to keep and possibly increase its share of the online selling market.

Word in late 2007 is that changes could be on the way including the possibility of a decrease listing costs and a hike in final value fees. It's all too early but the word on the street is that some changes will happen fairly quickly once the calendar turns.

eBay spokesperson Hani Durzy says that the company has not announced anything about new fee plans. However, he adds "we are always looking at ways to adjust the marketplace to make sellers more successful."
