One auction company is offering cash back if you'll help them cut down on printing.
Huggins and Scott Auctions is launching a new “Go Green” campaign.
In an effort to cut down on printing cost and do something for the environment, the company is offering customers a reward for declining a printed auction catalog during 2010.
Those who accept the offer of viewing the electronic version of the company's catalog or bid online without the use of a catalog, H&S is offering a $10.00 credit off of each auction invoice. Huggins & Scott plans a total of four auctions in 2010 –and the offer is good for each, a potential $40 in savings.
A free download-able .pdf version of the exact printed catalog will be available on the company's website, and will be available to collectors before the regular printed catalog.
Huggins & Scott's next auction is in March.
The company has also announced that they will no longer have their sliding buyer’s premium scale, but instead will go back to a single buyer’s premium fee of 17.5% on all auction sales.
