GAI 7 1952 Topps Mantle Sells for $24K

The demand is still greater than the supply when it comes to the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. Even those that don’t turn heads continue to sell for lofty prices. Another changed hands Wednesday night.

They won’t require an armored car or security escort, but mid-grade 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle cards are still sure to draw a crowd when offered for sale.

A GAI-graded ‘7’ sold Wednesday night on eBay for $24,099.

A PSA 5 copy found a new home thanks to a Monday night eBay auction. Four Sharp Corners, a vintage dealer, saw its auction draw 19 bids and reach $17,300 before closing.

It’s the highest recorded price for a PSA 5 since last summer’s Memory Lane auction resulted in a sale at over $20,000.
