Found: 1970 NLCS Ring

$50 Off $250 at Steiner Sports with code JETER50

How did an owner’s championship ring wind up in this woman’s house?

Bonnie Combs lost her husband several years ago. As far as we know the Cincinnati woman’s mate wasn’t a big time collector, but somehow he wound up with a Reds championship ring from the team’s 1970 sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The season marked the dawning of the Big Red Machine, even though they lost the World Series to the Baltimore Orioles.

The name on the ring is "Gamble", but Oscar Gamble wasn’t a member of that club. Bonnie sought out the help of a local TV reporter who looks into such mysteries. It’s a valuable piece of baseball memorabilia, but when you find out what she’s doing with it, you know her heart is in the right place.
