All you have to do is go to a local flea market and you'll discover people will try to sell anything. It's also true some people will buy anything. We're about to find out if that's true once again. A seller is offering the hearse that transported Dale Earnhardt to his final resting place.
Ten years after his death, Earnhardt remains an icon to fans who continue to buy his cards, autographs and other memorabilia.
The real story here, though, might be that there is bargain hunting--even in the famous hearse market. The current owner, it seems, is trying to make a whopper of a profit.
You can check out the story from WBTV in Charlotte, not far from what was indeed Dale Senior's last ride.
