Football Hall of Fame Autograph Collector Down to Precious Few

There were a lot fewer names on the list when he started in 1987, but bit by bit, Rocke Sweaney got most of them.  When new names would be added to the roster of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he got those too.

His collection numbers in the hundreds now.

He’s one of several Hall of Fame autograph collecting specialists in northern Ohio, which makes sense considering the Hall’s location and the passion for football in that state.

There are others out there, too.  All trying to create a complete ‘set’ of autographs from every member of the Hall.

Some are tougher than others.

The Canton Repository recently stopped by to do a nice profile on this passionate collector, who explained which autographs are the toughest for every Hall of Fame collector.
