Jilted Packer fans who own a bar and grill on the Minnesota state line decided to take their frustrations out during Monday night’s game with the Brett Favre-led Vikings.

The Milwaukee Burger Company announced plans to hold a burn-a-thon of Favre memorabilia to express their outrage over the once-beloved quarterback’s decision to cast his lot with the arch-rivals.

Kent Letnes, the owner of the bar, wound up on ESPN and the story received national attention. Now, however, the local fire department has thrown a wet blanket on the halftime proceedings.
