Bob Feller roars through life his fastball once did. He may not be quite as active as he was a decade ago when he was 'only' 80, but getting to an autograph signing is still not a big deal for the Hall of Fame pitcher.
Feller was in Michigan late last week, appearing at a fundraiser for a high school in Grand Rapids.
He's still not shy about talking with fans either, many of whom aren't old enough to remember him as a Cleveland ace. Feller's life was baseball--but he also served in World War II and either subject is fair game.
The Grand Rapids Press was there as Feller put his signature on a few hundred items.
