Dwight Evans game-used glove A Ft. Lauderdale, Florida dealer has obtained a number of items from the personal collection of former Red Sox outfielder Dwight Evans.

Bud’s Sports Cards and Collectibles purchased a variety of items including numerous autographed team baseballs and equipment from Evans’ playing days in Boston.

A three-time All-Star, Evans is considered one of the best defensive outfielders of all-time, having won eight gold gloves in his 19-year career that began in 1972. He spent all but one of those seasons with the Red Sox before finishing his career with the Baltimore Orioles in 1991.

Included in the memorabilia purchase were numerous game-used bats and uniforms from Evans’ playing and coaching days–even original Little League and prep baseball caps, awards from his career, original player contracts and Evans’ union membership card.

Buds’ owner Frank Scarduzio says Items from the Evans collection will be for sale in the coming weeks.
