Larry LeGrande sells Negro Leagues memorabilia to help some of his former colleagues.
His pro career was a short one, but Larry LeGrande remembers some of the old-timers in the later years of the Negro Leagues. Baseball had integrated by the late 1950s but there were plenty of players who never saw anything resembling a decent paycheck.
He's now a semi-regular on the card show circuit in and around North Carolina, trying to raise money--and awareness.
