One case of missing memorabilia is apparently solved, while another former NFL player is looking for some items from his career.
Lyle Blackwood, a member of the Miami Dolphins in the early and mid-1980s, was the victim of a burglary last week.
Blackwood’s Dallas home housed many memories from his career including a pair of AFC Championship rings, game worn jerseys, a signed football and more. Now, they’re missing.

Meanwhile, former San Diego Charger Lorenzo Neal had similar trouble with a thief earlier this summer in his hometown of Fresno. He lost several jerseys from players he had competed against including one signed by Jerry Rice, a pair of Muhammad Ali boxing gloves and other expensive designer items that belonged to his wife. Neal offered a $20,000 reward and it may have helped lead to an arrest.
Inside a storage unit police found many of the stolen items, along with cocaine, drugs and a gun. Corrin Hoggard of the ABC affiliate in Fresno has that story:
