eBay Losing Steam? Not So
They rankled some sellers a lilttle recently but eBay’s bottom line suggests the company has plenty of backers on Wall Street.
It’s more expensive to run an eBay store these days, but finding things on the site has gotten a bit easier. The company’s efforts to get back to it’s auction roots have apparently worked.
Sales were up 29 percent to $1.7 billion in the 4th quarter. eBay’s net income increased 24% to $346 million. EBay reported that the total value of all items sold in the fourth quarter was $14.4 billion, a 20 percent increase from the prior year.
