Nearly complete at 49 of 50 cards, a generally mid-grade 1909 caramel group drew 30 bids and a final price of $24,100 for a Michigan-based seller. The set had been the #1 all-time finest on PSA's set registry.
The vintage baseball card set was missing a Honus Wagner (throwing) card. This hard-to-find set also includes Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson and John McGraw, among others.
