Game worn L.A. Dodgers jerseys are on the block for a special pre-season fundraiser.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are auctioning game-worn Dodgers jerseys from the March 29 charity game against the Boston Red Sox at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Each jersey will be autographed by the player or coach who wore the jersey, and will include a special ThinkCure patch on one sleeve and a 50th Anniversary patch on the opposite sleeve.
Bidding is already underway online at dodgers.auction.mlb.com and will continue until 2 p.m. PDT on Thursday, April 10. Proceeds from this auction will also benefit ThinkCure, the official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
ThinkCure was launched in July 2007 by the Los Angeles Dodgers, the McCourt family, City of Hope, and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. ThinkCure is a charity whose purpose is to raise funds to support cancer research, and whose mission is to find a cure for cancer.
