Daughter Safe From Tornado: Collector Says Thanks with Jersey Sale

Brian Ward loves his collection of autographed football jerseys. But he loves his one year-old daughter a lot more. Now he’s helping the woman who saved her from an F3 tornado rebuild her home by parting with some of his best pieces.

Last week’s killer tornado in Windsor, Colorado obliterated a home-based daycare, but owner Michelle Flanigan was able to get all of the children to safety in her basement. They all came through without injuries, but her home is gone.

One of the parents who trusted Michelle with her daughter’s care is doing something unique to say, "thank you" and to try to help her rebuild.

Brian Ward has some specially-framed autographed football jerseys he’s listed for sale on eBay in hopes of raising several thousand dollars.
