Coughlin’s Super Bowl Flip Card, Cap Up for Bid

New York Giants’ coach Tom Coughlin is hoping to raise money for his foundation through a special auction of items used in Super Bowl XLVI.  Coughlin’s autographed, Super Bowl XLVI flip chartgame-worn cap and the flip chart he carried on the sidelines are being sold with proceeds to benefit the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, which assists children with leukemia and other cancers and their families by providing emotional and financial support to help reduce stress and improve the quality of their life.

The flip card, or lineup card, is unique, perhaps the only one from a Super Bowl winning coach to hit the auction block.  The laminated card includes his hand-written working notes before and during the game.  The felt tip markings are smeared as a result of his Gatorade bath following the Giants’ win over the Patriots.

TGiants coach Tom Coughlinhe cap is signed and the winning bidder will get a photo of the coach adding his autograph.

The items aren’t going to go for a bargain price.  Minimum bid for the two pieces is $5,000.
