Harry Schieferstein once owned perhaps the best collection of college football programs in the country.
He’s been gone four years now and the collection he proudly built in the Long Island, New York home he shared with his wife Jeanne was sold 20 years before that when the couple retired to Florida.
A small portion of the thousands of college football game programs Harry Schieferstein once owned remains, however. Neatly placed inside a large photo album, they’re a source of comfort for Jeanne.
She recently explained to the Bradenton Herald that there was no more devoted collector than her late husband (slideshow of programs included).
