From Montreal to the prairie provinces, Canadians carve out their own little hockey Halls of Fame.
In the States you might walk into a basement in Cincinnati and find a shrine to baseball. North of the border, hockey is the national game and like their American counterparts, fans feel compelled to hang on to a little of the history.
Or…a lot of it.
Some collect pucks, others vintage jerseys and other memorabilia. Others devote their time to sharing their collection through a regional museum. It just sort of grows on you.
