The Brooklyn Dodgers played their final game in Flatbush 50 years ago today. For the surviving players–and those who make their living from memories–the club is very much alive and well.
The kids who watched them win the 1955 World Series are heading into retirement now. The fans who watched them leave Brooklyn two years later haven’t forgotten a half century later.
