Boston memorabilia dealer placed 911 call in Myers incident

Turns out it was a Boston area sports memorabilia dealer who tipped police off about Phillies’ pitcher Brett Myers smacking his wife around.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has obtained transcripts of 911 calls of an incident involving Brett Myers and his wife near Fenway Par back in June.

One call was made by 30 year-old Sly Egidio, a former Marine who now deals in sports memorabilia. He describes an ugly scene outside Fenway Park.
