Who took Benjamin Daugherty’s signed Babe Ruth baseball?

A baseball signed by Babe Ruth is reported to have been stolen from a LaPorte, Indiana man’s apartment.

25 year-old Benjamin Daughtery says he was enjoying dinner with friends on Christmas night when the theft occurred. He had recently turned down a chance to sell the ball.

Few details were offered in a story by the Herald-Argus newspaper, but it was apparently a piece of baseball memorabilia that had more than just monetary value for Daugherty.
