It's still early --and that means better chances to snare some scribbles.
It's not like it once was at spring training, when players milled leisurely about with only the occasional request for a signature.
These days, fans and collectors come armed with brand new official baseballs, 8x10 photos and baseball cards.
And they show up in droves.
Snow birds from the north. Locals trying to hit as many parks as they can before April. Collectors and dealers who see it as a fertile hunting ground.
It's still much easier to get autographs in spring training than it is during the season, though.
