Props to the sports memorabilia realm on the Antiques Roadshow where an 89 year-old autographed baseball from a World Series winner was featured this week.
The Black Sox get most of the 1919 World Series attention, but the winning team in that controversial series was Pat Moran’s Cincinnati Reds.
When the hit PBS series Antiques Roadshow set up shop in Louisville, a man showed up with a bag containing a baseball signed by the champs.
It’s certainly not something you see every day and this one surprised the host–and the guy from Ohio who is now sitting on a small fortune.
It’s worth watching –whether you agree with the estimate or not.
