Adrian Peterson autographs will be part of the mix at the upcoming Sun-Times Sports Collectibles Convention in Chicago.
Mounted Memories announced Thursday that it had added the record-setting running back to its Sunday autograph guest lineup.
Peterson, who made a remarkable comeback after suffering torn knee ligaments late in the 2011 season, led the NFL in rushing with 2,097 rushing yards, just nine yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson's single season all-time record.
Peterson rarely signs at card shows these days, but he’ll be at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont Sunday, March 24 from 1-2:30 p.m. Flat items or mini helmets will cost $150. Autographed Peterson footballs are $170; full-size helmets and jerseys will be $200 and a photo taken with the former Oklahoma standout will be $150. You can also add an inscription to your autograph for an extra $50.
Peterson is easily the biggest star in Sunday’s lineup. Guests on Saturday, March 23 will include Robert Griffin III, Ray Lewis, Drew Brees, Jim Brown, Jerry West, Carlton Fisk and others. DeMarco Murray has a scheduling conflict and canceled recently as did William “The Refrigerator” Perry who continues to battle health issues.
