Make way for another premium football product. 2011 Topps Precision will hit stores later this season at a dealer cost of around $140 per box.
Each card will be printed on 72-point card stock. There will be three base cards per pack with one autograph or autograph relic card in each. Four packs will be in each box, giving collectors four autographs and 12 base cards per box.
Clearly the highlight of the hobby-only product will be the veteran and retired player autograph checklist, which features around 50 veterans and retired players in all, according to Topps. The list includes Andre Johnson, Antonio Gates, Drew Brees, Earl Campbell, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Ken Stabler, Franco Harris, Joe Namath, Jim Brown and a number of other recognizable names.
There will be up to 36 base rookie autographs, all on-card. Jumbo relic cards will be part of a mix that includes dual, triple, quad, six and eight autograph book cards. Dual autographs will be numbered to 25, triples to 15, quads to 10, sextuplets to five and octagons to just three.
