Some of the NBA’s freshly-minted number one draft picks do their thing for Panini photographers looking to capture images for next season’s basketball trading cards.

The NBA has a new basketball card partner and some newcomers it hopes will propel sales for Panini America.

The company formerly known as Donruss got together with the NBA and over 30 of the league’s top draft picks for the annual photo shoot in New York recently.

Clippers fans are expecting big things out of Blake Griffin. The former Oklahoma Sooner leads a cast of rookies who are making their trading card debuts.

Panini put the players through a photo session for some in action shots, grabbed pieces of their jerseys and had them sign autographs for placement into packs of cards. Take a peek and listen in to what they were saying:
