2009 Bowman Sterling Football; UD Hockey Cards

Topps is preparing for the upcoming release of 2009 Bowman Sterling football while Upper Deck unveils plans for the NHL Draft, including an autograph signing and card set.

Bowman Sterling Matthew Stafford Bowman Sterling Football returns in 2009 with every card being sequentially numbered and chromium technology.

The Bowman Sterling brand is known for high-end autographed and memorabilia cards and Topps is guaranteeing one autographed card, two relic cards and two rookie cards per $50 SRP pack.

Every box will contain two autographed relic cards and each case will yield one dual autographed gold refractor card.

All autographed cards feature five parallels including refractor (#’d to 75), black (#’d to 25), gold (#’d to 10), white (#’d to 5) and red (1 of 1).

And all relics feature the same parallels…refractor (#’d to 199), black (#’d to 50), gold (#’d to 25), white (#’d to 5) and red (1 of 1).

ICE Derick Brassard Upper Deck will be manning a special booth during both days of the 2009 NHL Entry draft this Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27 in Montreal. The company has a special autograph-signing appearance scheduled for Derick Brassard of the Columbus Blue Jackets from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. Brassard will be signing an oversized (5” x 7”) Upper Deck Ice trading card/

In addition, Upper Deck has produced an event-exclusive, six-card set of former first-round NHL Draft picks that can be had by simply opening up five packs of any 2008-09 Upper Deck, Fleer or O-Pee-Chee NHL trading card product with the exception of Victory.

The six players who comprise the special redemption set are: Vincent Lecavalier (Card # D1); Roberto Luongo (# D2); Alexander Ovechkin (# D3); Sidney Crosby (# D4); Martin Brodeur (# D5); and Carey Price (# D6). The six-card sets will be redeemed for as long as supplies last.
