1956 Topps Mantle Stolen…But Not For Long

It was bad enough when a flood sent water pouring through a home in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

A big mess forced the family to call a company from a nearby community to conduct clean up operations.   They didn’t anticipate that the clean up would be quite so thorough.

Whatever the reason, the card was special enough to be in a frame and then…gone.

The local paper covers the story of the missing Mickey and an arrest that leaves you shaking your head.
