1952 Topps Ted Williams?
eTopps will undo history with the upcoming release of cards featuring players who, for one reason or another, didn’t appear on cards during a certain place and time.
eTopps has gone back in history and created a classic collection of
"cards that never were", scheduled to be released August 6.
The collection will include:
- 1952 Topps Joe DiMaggio
- 1952 Topps Ted Williams
- 1952 Topps Whitey Ford
- 1954 Topps Stan Musial
- 1967 Topps Nolan Ryan
- 1982 Topps Ryne Sandberg
Williams and Musial both had exclusives with Bowman in the early 50’s and as a
result did not have Topps cards. Ford left baseball to serve his country in the Korean War; as a result never had a ‘52 Topps card. Ryan broke into the Big Leagues in ‘66 with the Mets, but it wasn’t until ‘68 that he appeared on a rookie card.
All cards will be sequentially numbered and delivered on eTopps technology. Several of the cards are slated for autographs.
