The auction includes a number of other vintage sports memorabilia items including a rare Jimmie Foxx front-signed yellow Hall of Fame plaque; a collection of 17 SGC graded 1909 Dockman & Sons Baseball cards – all being sold individually and an early “Executioner” style football helmet dating to the 1920s or 30′s.
Lots 549-563 originate from the personal collection of Lubie Lee Veal, Jr. who worked as a field attendant within professional baseball for nearly fifty years with teams including the Richmond Braves, Louisville Colonels, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, and Chicago Cubs.
